Oct. 23, 2014 – Day 2

  • Congratulations to our Cross Country team as both the girls and boys took 1st place in the meet yesterday!
  • Boys Basketball tryouts will be held today in the WMS gym from 3:30 until 5:00. You must have a Florida High School Athletic Association physical form on file in order to try out. Current 7th and 8th grade students must have a 2.0 or above grade point average for the 2nd semester of last year in order to be eligible to play. You may sign up during your lunch period starting today in the cafeteria. Please contact Coach Hall if you should have any questions.  
  • Jr. Beta will be selling soft pretzels and cheese after school on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for $2.  Look for the pretzel cart near Mr. Curry’s room after the bell rings.
  • Attention Dodgeball lovers! Jr. Beta will also be hosting a dodge ball tournament on Wednesday, October 29th during 1st and 2nd periods.  The tournament will consist of 6 teams with 6 members each.  The entry fee for each team is $20.  Tickets will be sold during lunch starting today.  If you just want to watch the tournament, you can, for a $2 donation to Jr. Beta.  Please see Mrs. West or Ms. Philpot if you have questions.      
  • FCA meets Wednesday morning beginning at 8:35 in cafeteria. Grab your breakfast and meet us on the stage.
